Made in 40-jar batches from dried chiles toasted to order, then steeped in neutral oil with shallot, garlic, Sichuan peppercorn, and a spoon of fermented black bean. The "Limited Reserve" designation means one thing: the smoked chile fraction is roughly double the standard jar, so it is genuinely hot.
Good on eggs, noodles, rice, cucumbers, vanilla ice cream (really), and anything braised. Stir before use — the solids settle and that’s where most of the flavor is.
Contains soy. Produced in a facility that also handles peanuts & tree nuts. Shelf stable unopened; refrigerate after opening and use within about three months.
